Coaching and Curriculum Support
PS Science offers teachers instructional support to help schools achieve important STEM goals. Many districts have purchased new science curricula in accordance with Next Generation Science Standards to improve science learning at their schools. However, teachers don’t always receive adequate training on these materials and are therefore hesitant to use them.
To bridge this gap, PS Science offers coaching for teachers implementing a new NGSS-aligned curricula. Our Instructors are currently working in classrooms implementing the Amplify Science curriculum and the Inspire Science curriculum for the first time. This ensures teachers can confidently and capably teach hands-on science for years to come.
Help with lesson materials
NGSS lessons require materials for students to do hands-on science. Typically, these are included with the curriculum purchase, but when they arrive at schools they are not organized by lesson. This makes it hard for teachers to access and use. PS Science can help your school organize and prepare materials for use.
