Volunteer opportunities are open to all individuals who meet the qualifications established for each project. There are a wide range of opportunities for those looking to share their passion for science education. PS Science actively seeks a diverse volunteer pool, so if you are interested in helping out in any capacity, please get in touch.
Opportunities
Saturday service squad
PS Science brings hands-on science lessons to over 6,000 elementary school students every week. To make this possible, we rely on volunteers to help prepare materials for use in classrooms. On the second Saturday of each month from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. we host Saturday Service Squad where participants assist with simple, but essential tasks such as counting, cutting, folding, and prepping sets of materials to be used by students.
